COMPETITION

At Amsterdam Dynamics you can also play competitive hockey. We have been participating in the official KNHB competition since the 2021/2022 season. You can first get acquainted with hockey by training with us. If you like it, we will assign you to a team that plays competitively. You will then train with your team and play a match against other clubs in the Amsterdam and North Holland region on Saturday. We play our home games on our own field and on a field at HV Abcoude. Amsterdam has many hockey clubs, but there was no association in Amsterdam Zuidoost yet. Many Amsterdam hockey clubs have waiting lists for new members. With us you can start training immediately and as soon as you become a member, we will assign you to a team if you want.

FUNKEY HOCKEY

To introduce 4 and 5 year olds to sports movement in a fun and natural way, there is Funkey Hockey at Amsterdam Dynamics. The training includes basic forms of movement, running games, ball skills and a basic form of hockey. From agile to hockey skills. During the lessons, the children come into contact with a variety of basic forms of movement, which match the natural movement behaviour of older toddlers. In this way, they learn to deal with sports movement in a fun and safe way. Each lesson includes a hockey-related exercise. The goal is to play together in a sporty way, do fun exercises and be enthusiastically active outdoors. Funkey is of course above all fun!

Funkey Hockey is hockey for children from groups 1, 2 (and 3) of primary school who are not yet six years old on the reference date of October 1. Children can train 3 times for free to see if they like hockey. After that, your child will become a member of our association. Funkey training sessions are on our hockey field in the BijlmerSportpark under the supervision of professional trainers. The children must wear sporty sportswear in which they can move easily. They do not need special hockey shoes yet, but good gym shoes are recommended. The children do not need a stick, shin guards or mouth guard. We have sticks and materials!
