Peter Hoitinga is the founder and chairman of Amsterdam Dynamics. In 2020, he started on the hockey field in the Nelson Mandela Park together with Maartje Scheepstra and Duco Wildeboer. Peter is driven by the motivation to make hockey accessible to everyone. He himself was also a newcomer to the sport when his daughter started playing hockey. By coaching her teams at AMVJ and Hockeyclub Amsterdam over the years, his involvement in the sport of hockey grew. In a neighborhood where there is a lot of talent but participation in a (hockey) club is not self-evident, the club has succeeded in getting a large group of children enthusiastic about hockey with the help of the Hockey Foundation and Rabobank. A wonderful enrichment of Amsterdam Zuidoost and the sport of hockey.

The intention is that this management task will be taken over by one of the (parents of the) members of Amsterdam Dynamics at some point. When this happens, Peter will remain available for advice and support for a considerable period of time.
